<p>Job Description provides direct, professional nursing care to a specified population of patients in an inpatient or an outpatient setting according to area of specialty.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Prepares equipment and assists physicians during examinations and treatments.</li><li>Performs evaluation of new and existing patients to determine priority and suitability of treatment and/or need for modifications.</li><li>Administers prescribed medications, applies sterile dressings, performs phlebotomy, and monitors vital signs.</li><li>Maintains confidentiality of patient records.</li><li>Works with medical devices and apparatus safely and ideally related to each area of specialty; manages alarms and detects any early harm.</li><li>Performs specialized nursing procedures related to the unique needs of a particular patient population.</li><li>Oversees and guides the work of other nursing and support staff.</li><li>Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.</li><li>Supervises, coordinates, and provides direct nursing care to patients.</li><li>Ensures that patients receive quality, compassionate, and ethical care.</li><li>Provides patient and family education, counseling, and support.</li><li>Ensures adherence to standards of care, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Performs nursing duties in accordance with facility policies and procedures, and the rules and regulations of the State Board of Nursing and hospital policies.</li><li>Provides direct patient care, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff; assesses and treats patient conditions in collaboration with physicians and other members of the health care team.</li><li>Performs procedures, such as injections and catheterizations.</li><li>Assists with the management of vascular access devices.</li><li>Evaluates patients’ compliance to treatment plans and evaluates and reports test results.</li><li>Performs health promotion activities to prevent illness and maintain health.</li><li>Performs nursing support duties, such as assisting with treatments and procedures, in addition to other related duties as assigned.</li><li>Works with different medical devices and medical apparatus related to each area of specialty and identifies possible related risk alarms.</li></ul><p>Qualifications and Experience:</p><ul><li>Bachelor degree in Nursing.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience including in-depth experience in required specialty.</li><li>Proficiency in English, Arabic is a plus.</li><li>Good communication skills and well-exhibited patient care attitude.</li><li>Teamwork and collaboration.</li><li>Required Nationalities: All nationalities.</li><li>Specialty required: Dialysis, ICU, ER, Pediatric, OPD, OB/GYN, CCU, NICU, PICU, OR, L&D, Cath lab, Medical Surgical.</li></ul>
