<h3>Systems Engineer Operational Technologies</h3><p>Vancouver Airport Authority is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their Baggage Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Determining technical requirements</li><li>Leading technical decisions and projects</li><li>Managing operational activities</li><li>Guiding resources</li><li>Conducting root cause analysis</li><li>Managing vendor relationships</li><li>And more.</li></ul><p><strong>Key qualifications include:</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of 2 years of Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or a combination</li><li>A minimum of 4 years of recent relevant experience in SCADA systems</li><li>Proven experience in virtual platforms, project and vendor management</li><li>Script writing for data analysis</li><li>Expert knowledge of technologies underlying SCADA/PLC</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Strong organization and coordination abilities</li></ul><p>The position is open to both Vancouver Airport Authority employees and external applicants. The salary range is from $86,326 to $112,823 per annum based on a 40-hour work week.</p>
