As a part of our dynamic and agile team, the successful applicant will have the chance to enhance their skill set and knowledge, enabling them to contribute across various teams within the organization. Candidates should possess comprehensive experience in security risk management and crisis management at both tactical and strategic levels and have a wide-ranging understanding of different industries. The position involves readiness to deploy globally at short notice, often in challenging situations, requiring confidence and the ability to provide immediate support and guidance to high-level / C-Suite stakeholders.</p><p>Our ideal candidate will be:</p><ul><li>Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills</li><li>Highly commercial, with the ability to recognise and develop commercial opportunities</li><li>Creative thinker who can apply initiative and create solutions to solve clients’ problems</li><li>Personable and able to communicate effectively at all levels with team members and clients</li><li>Able to relate well to others with confidence and empathy, build trust and remain calm and resourceful during difficult and emotive situations</li><li>Able to demonstrate adherence to values: ethics, discretion, integrity and accountability</li><li>Has the flexibility and motivation to work irregular hours and maintain quality delivery</li><li>Invested in development: maintains a high level of industry knowledge and awareness of geopolitical and security/crisis management issues and trends</li></ul><p>Place of work/travel: London, UK or Paris, France with requirement to travel internationally on consulting projects.</p><p>What You Will Work On</p><p>Business development:</p><ul><li>Generation of new security and crisis management consultancy opportunities in UK & Europe and globally in support of CSC’s new business targets</li><li>Identify opportunities to promote and enhance CSC’s security and crisis management consulting initiatives</li><li>Scope, price, manage and/or oversee the development of RFPs and client proposals</li><li>Represent CSC, Crisis24 and Garda in client pitches, presentations and meetings</li><li>Identify opportunities to introduce the wider Garda services into clients</li></ul><p>Consulting services delivery:</p><ul><li>Deploy to client offices throughout UK & Europe and/or other overseas locations to deliver CSC’s pre-incident consulting services</li><li>Delivery and management of SRM, CM and BCM consulting services (such as risk assessments, policy/plan development, incident and crisis management planning and other projects)</li><li>Produce all relevant documentation in support of assigned pre-incident consulting services delivery; responsible for the quality and standards of such documentation in line with CSC’s best practice doctrine and methodology</li><li>Project management of live security risk and crisis management consulting projects and coordination of deployments including administration of other staff and/or third-party consultants on projects</li></ul><p>All hazards response:</p><ul><li>May deploy to client offices throughout UK & Europe and/or other overseas locations to deliver ‘all hazards’ crisis management response support services</li></ul><p>Account management:</p><ul><li>Client liaison and account/client relationship management of new and existing consulting clients</li></ul><p>Team engagement:</p><ul><li>Support the development of more junior team members and work in cooperation with the wider global consulting team on all aspects of consulting services delivery</li></ul><p>Administrative:</p><ul><li>Maintain and/or oversee accurate accounting records for key clients allocated</li><li>Keep Salesforce and any other platforms used by Crisis24 up to date and accurate in relation to relevant accounts and proposals</li></ul><p>Other:</p><ul><li>Support the wider Crisis24 and Garda business as required</li></ul><p>Who You Will Work With</p><p>Internally: Crisis24: Immediate CSC team, Associate Consultant Team, and management, wider Crisis24 team, GardaWorld team/s in Europe and globally, corporate functions.</p><p>Externally: Clients, information sources and third-party providers & subcontractors.</p><p>The Senior Consultant will report to the Associate Director (UK & Europe). These responsibilities will be monitored and managed through the company performance management review cycle and regular monitoring of performance against KPIs throughout the year. Core accountabilities are support to the development and delivery of consulting opportunities and services; execution of defined administrative tasks; participation in company performance management cycle.</p><p>What You Will Bring</p><ul><li>A second European language will be highly advantageous (ideally French)</li><li>Minimum 7 years' relevant previous experience in a security, intelligence, risk or crisis management environment, working in an operational and/or consulting role</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Security Risk and Crisis Management / Business Continuity Management – Best Practice and Industry Standards</li><li>Demonstrable commercial experience developing new business opportunities</li><li>Extensive travel experience globally including in high threat / hostile environments</li><li>Competent skills with office-based software; MSOffice</li><li>At least one relevant security risk management qualification (CSMP, CPP, PSP or other)</li></ul><p>Information Security</p><p>Protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
