<p>Junior IT Specialist - Project & Systems<br>Location: Vaughan & Wynford locations<br>Permanent Full-Time</p><p>Looking to be a part of a dynamic team? We are a health and safety management, consulting and training company serving clients across North America.</p><h3>Position Summary</h3><p>Within a consultant business setting, the Junior IT Specialist is responsible for supporting, installing, configuring, servicing, repairing, and maintaining information technology systems, specifically focused on computers, networks, software, and hardware. This position reports to the Senior Project & Systems Specialist in developing and implementing IT projects and policies. This position accountability will be focused on Information Technology support, including marketing/web design, system network support, and social media.</p><h3>Some Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain IT systems, such as computers, mobile devices, networks, software, and hardware</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues and requests from users</li><li>Monitor and optimize the performance and security of IT systems and devices</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to users and clients on IT-related matters</li><li>Assist senior IT specialists in developing and implementing IT projects and policies</li><li>Document and update IT procedures and records</li><li>Maintain web pages updates or changes, including ERP content support</li><li>Manage marketing initiatives promoting business marketing campaigns with MailChimp</li><li>Maintain social media sites such as LinkedIn Branding page</li><li>Sourcing, ordering and tracking all equipment</li><li>Mobile technology user support and maintenance</li><li>Research and evaluate new IT technologies and solutions</li><li>Stay updated on IT trends and best practices</li></ul><h3>Qualifications/Requirements</h3><ul><li>Post-secondary education in a computer-related degree or at least 2 years equivalent working experience</li><li>Experience in using and troubleshooting:</li><ul><li>Windows, IOS, Android systems</li><li>MS Office, including SharePoint</li><li>NetSuite or SaaS Services for website and customer relationship management</li></ul><li>Proficient with Microsoft 365 offering support with accounts, permissions, and troubleshooting</li><li>Experience with basic webpage design tools such as Squarespace, WordPress and search optimization tools</li><li>Basic design experience and knowledge of Workspace ONE is an asset</li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills</li></ul><p>We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected will be contacted.
