Job Description

<h3>Job Summary</h3><p>The Senior Financial Planning Analyst plays an integral role in the finance team, working on complex issues and transactions, projects independently as well as collaboratively with finance and cross-functional team members. The successful candidate will be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment, interacting at all levels of the organization, including international team members and external stakeholders.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct sales revenue and customer analysis, including forecasting and budgeting, identifying reporting issues, suggesting improvements, and maintaining internal controls.</li><li>Work with sales team to track forecast sales volume and revenue.</li><li>Submit constrained and unconstrained sales forecasts for the business unit.</li><li>Generate monthly sales actual reports and revenue journal entries.</li><li>Analyze freight revenue passthroughs, PPI, magnesium, etc.</li><li>Responsible for month-end cut-off procedures and compliance with IFRS 15.</li><li>Assist in monthly forecasting, annual budgets, and long-term strategic planning regarding revenue.</li><li>Prepare monthly customer reconciliations and ad hoc financial sales analysis.</li><li>Interact with internal and external auditors as necessary.</li><li>Serve as the link between the Sales team and Finance team as needed.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.</li><li>A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance is required.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software, with a strong focus on Excel experience; SAP or similar ERP system experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.</li><li>Exposure to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is helpful.</li><li>Demonstrates results orientation, accountability, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally.</li><li>Effective written and oral communication skills sufficient to communicate at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with good interpersonal skills is essential.</li><li>Able to perform and understand detailed information, analysis, and evaluation.</li><li>Capability to work in cross-organizational multi-functional teams within a global matrix organization with an international mindset.</li></ul><h3>About Constellium</h3><p>Constellium Muscle Shoals is an aluminum manufacturing plant based in Alabama, with 1,200 employees and the widest strip mill in the USA, representing one of the largest recycling center sites within Constellium. This site has the capacity to recycle nearly 20 billion cans per year.
