<h3>Job Description:</h3> <p>We're on the lookout for a committed Forklift Operator to join our team at Randstad! In this role, you'll be instrumental in overseeing the smooth flow of goods through our cross dock facility, guaranteeing prompt and precise distribution of shipments. Your main responsibilities will involve receiving, organizing, and preparing freight, along with loading and unloading trucks. The Forklift Operator position is pivotal in enhancing our logistics efficiency and upholding top-notch standards of productivity and precision.</p> <h3>Compensation:</h3> <p>$21 per hour</p> <h3>Shift:</h3> <p>2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Sunday to Thursday</p> <h3>Advantages</h3> <ul><li>Enjoy a competitive hourly wage of $21</li><li>Secure a long-term assignment</li><li>Thrive in a positive work environment alongside a hands-on, friendly team</li></ul> <h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against shipping documents</li><li>Sort and segregate freight based on destination</li><li>Stage freight for outbound shipments in an organized manner</li><li>Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment</li><li>Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements</li></ul> <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <ul><li>2-3 years' experience working in a cross dock or warehouse environment preferred</li><li>Valid Forklift license is required</li><li>Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required</li></ul> <h3>Summary:</h3> <p>Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications for this position.
