<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Perform highly diversified duties – troubleshoot, repair, maintain property’s facilities equipment to ensure a safe, functional environment for guests and team members.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities equipment.</li><li>Complete assigned Preventative Maintenance duties in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>Take daily readings of mechanical equipment, including chillers and water/steam entry room.</li><li>Carry out daily pool and spa maintenance.</li><li>Able to perform drywall repairs, painting touch-ups, and wallcovering repairs.</li><li>Utilize plumbing skills including drain cleaning, repairs, and installation of new fixtures.</li><li>Inspect areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action.</li><li>Promptly respond to and follow guest and colleague requests to resolve problems and prevent future issues.</li><li>Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.</li><li>Work closely with the Engineering Supervisor and team to assist in the successful completion of projects and work orders.</li><li>Understand and follow job SOP, Lockout/Tag-out, MSDS procedures, and general safety guidelines.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Excellent communicator and problem solver.</li><li>Follow policies, procedures, and standards set by the Hotel.</li><li>Trade qualifications would be beneficial.</li><li>Relevant building maintenance experience.</li><li>Pool operator’s certificate and experience in pool maintenance chemistry is a strong asset.</li><li>Knowledge of energy management and building automation systems (DDC).</li><li>Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Highly responsible, reliable, and punctual.</li><li>Must be a self-starter and self-motivator with the ability to take initiative.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Must be physically fit and well-groomed.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, overnights, rotating shifts, and extended hours as needed for emergencies.</li></ul><p>Constant standing and walking throughout shift. Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 30 lbs. Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, bending. Occasional ascending/descending ladders, stairs, and ramps. Must be able to work Full-Time hours.</p>
