<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Bloomberg is expanding its audio offerings and is looking for an experienced podcast senior producer to work on an ambitious daily podcast focused on the economy and world enterprise business news. The producer will work on the show in collaboration with a larger audio team alongside reporters and editors from Bloomberg's wider newsroom.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Executive producer will conceive, focus, generate daily story ideas and solicit, shape pitches from producers in the broader newsroom.</li><li>Lead production of multiple episodes of the daily show, managing logistics and ensuring editorial standards and episode quality.</li><li>Collaborate on scripting episodes with the story editor, weighing story arcs and outlining episode framing.</li><li>Manage the long-term editorial calendar as well as day-to-day production tasks.</li><li>Lead producing reporting, selecting episodes from the field and studio.</li><li>Represent the daily podcast efficiently and with high energy in the newsroom.</li><li>Edit with sensitivity to quality; possesses excellent news judgment and awareness of the biggest stories in business and markets on a daily basis.</li></ul><h3>Skills & Experience</h3><ul><li>Experience reporting, editing, or producing in newsroom projects with rigorous journalistic ethics.</li><li>Experience with field, remote, and in-studio production; reporting experience in the field is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated interest in covering business news.</li><li>Proficiency with editing software (Descript, Audition) is required; Pro Tools is a plus.</li></ul><p>If this sounds like you, apply now, and if you're a good match, we’ll get in touch to let you know the next steps.
