The Ericsson Private 5G is a next-generation, private network, tailored to drive Industry 4.0, the modernization and digitalization of infrastructures and business process operations. Organizations gain secure and powerful 4G LTE and 5G Standalone (SA) connectivity allowing them to optimize and simplify business critical operations through data creation, collection, and analysis.
As an Engineering Manager for a team of senior RAN engineers and Software Developers, you will have the opportunity to experience a full end-to-end telecom network first-hand, including RAN, Cloud ENM, Core and our Cloud-based management system, and to shape the future of our organization.
You are accountable for the team's day-to-day operations, playing a critical role in unlocking the full potential of your team. We also expect you to leverage on your past experience as a technical leader, as well as a people leader, to lead the team, coaching and supporting them to grow as professionals and individuals.
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>At minimum five (5) years of experience in combined technical and people leadership positions, with experience from leading cross-functional development teams and senior developers within the fields of Telco, IT and/or Cloud</li>
<li>Excellent people management and coaching skills</li>
<li>Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Experience working in the Telco domain (e.g. Ericsson RAN products, ENM) and/or with public cloud (e.g. GCP or AWS)</li>
<li>Fluency in using Jira, Confluence, Linux, git and other common R&D tools</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree</li>
