 It is an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue to build upon our successful history of wireless innovation. Nordic launched its first Power Management IC (PMIC) in 2021 &ndash; demonstrating its commitment to growing a portfolio of products as a part of their strategy to continued domination of the low-power wireless IoT market. The PMICs, together with Nordic&rsquo;s wireless System-on-Chips (SoCs) enable customers to maximize runtime by conserving energy all the way from the battery to the antenna. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic software engineer to help deliver the software drivers and algorithms required to support our PMIC features.

   Key responsibilities
   <br/>
   <br/>
  </strong>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Ensure an optimum user experience for software designers implementing Nordic PMICs
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist the PMIC team in designing software-efficient register files and interfaces
  </li>
  <li>
   Lead development of Zephyr software drivers and packaging these with the NCS
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist the customer support team with software related support cases that are beyond their capabilities to solve
  </li>
  <li>
   Developing and delivering innovative algorithms to optimize our PMIC product offering
  </li>
  <li>
   Developing application examples for customer use

  Qualification And Skills

  <li>
   Bachelor or Master&rsquo;s degree in electronics or computer science
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in embedded SW development experience including Zephyr or other RTOS
  </li>
  <li>
   Good understanding of embedded HW systems and power supply architectures
  </li>
  <li>
   The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
