We aim to give customers more time to focus on what matters most to them, as well as growing along with our partners, riders and community along the way.

 You will become an integral part of the Norwegian leadership team and your role involves having strategic overall responsibility for the finance department in Norway. You report to the CFO of the region as well as to the managing director in foodora norway. You are also part of an international company with significant interfaces throughout the organization. The role involves both operational and strategic tasks, such as financial analysis and P&amp;L management.

  Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Responsible for all financial and legal matters in the company (monthly closing, budget &amp; forecasting, audits, reviews, purchasing, payroll, risk management, cash flow and more), supported by team members in the parent company Delivery Hero
  </li>
  <li>
   Lead and inspire the talented finance team to work at their best
  </li>
  <li>
   As part of the Norwegian management team, you are responsible for defining the local finance roadmap and provide support in steering and defining business strategy
  </li>
  <li>
   Act as a business partner to drive business initiatives and recommend changes for process improvements as well as advise on long-term business decisions and financial planning
  </li>
  <li>
   Drive the coordination and optimization of existing processes, implementation of new standards (IFRS, Norwegian GAAP), as well as the continuous expansion of our tools in the financial area
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborating closely with key individuals in Norway and Delivery Hero Europe to identify and implement strategies that will ensure that will ensure continued success in quick commerce and food delivery
  </li>
  <li>
   Work on the development and quality assurance of routines and processes for financial flows, ensuring that accounting aligns with internal and external requirements
  </li>
  <li>
   Proactively work on data analysis and identify areas for improvement
  </li>
  <li>
   Establish and develop relations with senior management, regional and global teams, and external partners and stakeholders

  To succeed in the role of Finance Director, we envision that you have:
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   A master's or bachelor's degree in economics with a focus on business / finance. Having (international) accreditations such as ACCA, CPA, CFA or the accountant exam are a strong plus, but not required.
  </li>
  <li>
   At least 5-7 years of professional experience in progressively responsible positions incl auditing and/or operational finance departments
  </li>
  <li>
   Leadership experience where you are driven by team development and employee management and have already gained several years of experience in managing a high performing team
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in financial forecasting and monitoring, developed and tracked relevant financial key performance indicators
  </li>
  <li>
   Strategic thinker who possesses solid business acumen and is able to organize and manage multiple priorities
  </li>
  <li>
   Deep knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  </li>
  <li>
   Fluent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in tech, e-commerce or platform sectors is advantageous
