 CUMULUS MEDIA | Dallas is searching for experienced Part-Time On-air Talent for its Dallas Music Stations. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, think ahead, be team players and work well in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Country, Top 40/CHR &amp; Hot AC music formats is helpful, but not required. This is a LOCAL position and is not for distant voice tracking. Must be available to work nights, weekends or holidays as needed.

 Key Responsibilities
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Produce a compelling radio show using creativity, imagination, and exercise of independent professional judgment in producing or broadcasting on-air content
  </li>
  <li>
   Be strong with phones/interacting with callers
  </li>
  <li>
   Able to connect with listeners both on site and on station digital channels.
  </li>
  <li>
   Create compelling social media engagement across all platforms as well as website and digital content generation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in station Programming, Sales &amp; Promotions meetings and events as required
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform at live broadcasts and station appearances, whether paid or unpaid
  </li>
  <li>
   Handle emergency news/weather in show; on call for weather, be on call for disasters/breaking news
  </li>
  <li>
   Follow station music log and commercial logs, ensuring logged commercials, promotions, sweepers, and any other programming element essential to the station's operations are aired.
  </li>
  <li>
   Voice commercials or other announcements as assigned.
  </li>
  <li>
   Other projects &amp; initiatives as assigned by program director

  Qualifications
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Minimum 1-3 years' commercial radio experience required, but those with zero radio experience will not be considered.
  </li>
  <li>
   All applicants MUST submit an aircheck- please follow instructions above.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficient with studio software including VoxPro, Adobe Audition and on-air automation systems (OpX preferred)
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong abilities at both audio &amp; video editing and production a plus
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of PPM ratings strategies and implementation
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with posting audio, video, text, blogs, and graphics to website platforms preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and all social media platforms and understand of social media strategy implementation is essential
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of pop entertainment culture as well as both the DFW &amp; Texas markets.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
  </li>
  <li>
   Tolerance for stress and tight timelines, including ability to work under pressure
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  </li>
  <li>
   Must be comfortable working with high profile talent and receiving constructive criticism and coaching.
  </li>
  <li>
