  NOTES: Industry experience doesn&rsquo;t matter; Pharma experience is a plus. Degree can be any, Biology, Biochemistry Degree is a positive. MUST HAVE tissue culture experience (sterile technique); iPSC, ESC or pluripotent stem cell culture experience a plus.

  1) Proficient at Tissue Culture
 </p>
 <p>
  2) Experience in working with Scientists to follow required protocols (Some kind of support)
 </p>

 <p>
  Purpose: To provide technical laboratory research effort in support of multiple projects focused on expedited creation and evaluation of in human vitro models and assays.
 </p>
 <p>

   Essential Functions:
  </strong>
  Work with scientists to conduct lab-based studies to support project efforts
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Perform tissue culture work with human cell lines to develop and optimize workflows for cell model creation and quality control
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Support project management efforts in standard operating procedure creation, sharing knowledge and skills, and fostering cross-functional teamwork
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Engage in effective communication with colleagues within Novo Nordisk.
 </p>
 <p>
  <br/>
 </p>
 <p>
  <strong>
   Physical Requirements: No overnight travel required
  </strong>
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Work with human cell lines, recombinant DNA, and common molecular biology reagents in a laboratory environment that may include hazardous chemicals and blood borne pathogens
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Functions may require some morning, evening, or weekend hours outside of standard business hours
 </p>
 <p>
  <br/>
 </p>
 <p>
  <strong>
   Qualifications
  </strong>
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience post-degree; relevant experience may be substituted as appropriate. Title is dependent on qualifications.
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Tissue culture experience is required&mdash;including strong aseptic technique and BSL2 stewardship, fixation and staining of cells, and troubleshooting
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Experience with automated laboratory equipment, complex machinery, and familiarity of high throughput data production principles are a plus
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Ability to carry out complex protocols required
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Experience in basic molecular biology techniques required
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Experience working in a team environment required, industry (CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech) experience is preferred
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Fluency in spoken and written English is a prerequisite for the role &bull; Role requires proactive communication skills and cross-cultural understanding to interact within a global organization
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Must be comfortable in asking for clarification and offering suggestions
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Other desirable skills include: propagation and manipulation of iPSC cultures, in vitro genome engineering, advanced cellular imaging and/or high throughput data collection skills, and ability to interpret interdisciplinary data
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Must love to learn, be ambitious, and be determined to contribute to improving patients' well-being.
 </p>
