 We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems maintenance and electrical systems, including 480V 3 phase and AC/DC electronic components. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, the ability to perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and the flexibility to work a variable schedule. You will be responsible for maintaining shop equipment, organizing tools and parts, and ensuring minimal unplanned downtime of plant equipment through effective troubleshooting and repair.

  Responsibilities and Duties:

 <ul>
  <li>
   Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair maintenance shop equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition
  </li>
  <li>
   Organization: Keep shop areas organized, including tools and parts, to promote efficiency
  </li>
  <li>
   Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, reordering as necessary
  </li>
  <li>
   Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, reviewing plant equipment operations to minimize unplanned downtime and identify opportunities for improvement
  </li>
  <li>
   Work Area Cleanliness: Ensure the work area is clean and well-maintained
  </li>
  <li>
   Installation and Maintenance: Perform diversified duties to install and maintain the plant&rsquo;s equipment, providing emergency/unscheduled repairs as required
  </li>
  <li>
   Mechanical Skills: Utilize mechanical skills such as mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
  </li>
  <li>
   Electrical Skills: Utilize electrical skills including working with 480V 3 phase, industrial and residential electrical systems, and AC/DC electronic component troubleshooting and repair
  </li>
  <li>
   Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, and Work Orders to perform necessary maintenance and service
  </li>
  <li>
   Problem Diagnosis: Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and adjust equipment as needed
  </li>
  <li>
   Tool Utilization: Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  </li>
  <li>
   Fault Detection: Detect faulty operations or defective materials, report unusual situations to the Maintenance Manager
  </li>
  <li>
   Regulation Compliance: Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  </li>
  <li>
   Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet company needs
  </li>
  <li>
   Housekeeping: Meet daily housekeeping requirements
  </li>
  <li>
   Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned

   Ability to move throughout facility grounds with exposure to varying weather conditions
  </li>
  <li>
   Must frequently lift up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  </li>
  <li>
   Frequent standing, walking, reaching, balancing, handling objects, simple and firm hand grasping, and operating controls
  </li>
  <li>
   Regularly sit, climb stairs and ladders, reach overhead, stoop, and crouch
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet

   Maintenance Experience: Strong background in mechanical systems maintenance
  </li>
  <li>
   Technical Skills: Proficient in examining, evaluating, isolating faults, and repairing equipment
  </li>
  <li>
   Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of 3 phase electricity and components
  </li>
  <li>
   Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  </li>

   Communication: Effective communication skills with all levels of employees
