  Summary of Responsibilities:
 </p>

  Applies technical skill sets and knowledge to develop and employ complete and accurate test plans for implementation of new products and/or system enhancements. Responsible for functional and interface testing deliverables of Enterprise systems. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible for making established range of decisions, escalating to Manager and updating Manager on a regular basis.

  Position Responsibilities:
 </p>
 <p>
  A software quality assurance (SQA) engineer is responsible for ensuring that software products are developed and released with the highest level of quality possible. SQA engineers are typically involved in the entire software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and design, to testing and release. They work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to ensure that quality standards are met at every stage of development.

  SQA engineers are responsible for developing and implementing software testing strategies and methodologies, as well as creating and executing test plans and test cases. They use a variety of testing tools and techniques, including manual and automated testing, to identify and report software defects. They also work to ensure that software products meet established quality standards and guidelines. In addition to testing, SQA engineers may also be involved in code reviews, and documentation review to ensure that software products meet quality and usability standards.&rdquo;

  Certifications &amp; Licenses (i.e., Series 6 &amp; 63, CPA, etc.):
 </p>
 <p>
  One or more of the following designations or other Industry equivalent certification preferred:
 </p>

   Current Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
  </li>
  <li>
   Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
  </li>
  <li>
   Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE)
  </li>
  <li>
   ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL)
  </li>
  <li>
   Quality Improvement Associate Certification (CQIA)
  </li>
  <li>
   Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP)
  </li>
 </ul>
