  Job Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Work closely with various business units in Astro to ensure alignment of data science initiatives and company strategy
  </li>
  <li>
   Lead projects and research initiatives to support various business units in Astro
  </li>
  <li>
   Build algorithms and predictive models to solve various business problems
  </li>
  <li>
   Analyse data sets from multiple data sources by using appropriate machine learning algorithms and computational frameworks
  </li>
  <li>
   Share the findings with business stakeholders in the form of visualizations, reports and presentations
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist junior team members in upskilling on data science skillsets

  Requirements
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   8 to 10 years of hands on experience with big data and relevant computational frameworks
  </li>
  <li>
   5+ years&rsquo; experience of development and deployment of probabilistic models and machine learning algorithms
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficient in machine learning, statistics, natural language processing etc
  </li>
  <li>
   Exceptional problem solving skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Extremely strong in SQL
  </li>
  <li>
   Expert in using SAS, R or Python
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of Hadoop/map-reduce, Spark, Hbase, etc.
  </li>
  <li>
   Willing to work in a fast paced and a highly collaborative environment
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication skills
  </li>
