 Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) is searching for a full-time
 <strong>
  Security Manager
 </strong>
 to oversee security protocol for our 24 branch locations. The best qualified candidate will have a passion for serving our communities balanced with ensuring compliance with the latest security protocol.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 The Security Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a team of TCCL and contracted security officers system-wide. The manager will coordinate weekly schedules, perform various administrative duties, and analyze incident patterns to ensure adequate security coverage. Additionally, the manager will ensure that all policies, procedures, and rules are followed and enforced to safeguard the security of library staff and customers, while also protecting the physical assets of TCCL.

 <br/>
 This important position requires exceptional communication skills, strong customer service experience, and a high degree of self-direction. The Security Manager will office at our Central Library, but is expected to regularly visit our branch locations and be visible on the public service floor. Hours of availability will be Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with responsibility for after-hours alarm calls and responding to critical security incidents; must have flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

  Other required qualifications include:
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Current CLEET certification/security license
  </li>
  <li>
   Valid driver&rsquo;s license
  </li>
  <li>
   Five + years security experience in a public setting addressing challenges such as mental health, drug abuse, homelessness, safe place, etc.
  </li>
  <li>
   Four or more years supervisory experience
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to respond to critical incidents quickly and manage change fluidly
