Job Description

Cyclone Manufacturing (A Mubea Aviation Company) is a vertically integrated full-service provider of 3-5 axis machining, sheet metal fabrication, tube bending, welding and minor sub-assemblies of aerospace structural components to the largest aerospace companies such as Boeing, AIDC, Bombardier, Embraer, FACC, GE, IAI, Liebherr, Lockheed Martin, MHI, SAAB, Stelia, Spirit AeroSystems and Triumph Aerostructures. Our surface treatment and controlled processes are approved by the major OEMs such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, IAI and Lockheed Martin.
Cyclone is a privately owned company with over 750 highly skilled employees housed within six state-of-the-art facilities totaling 450,000 square feet in both Canada and Poland.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and improve variances for products, including detailed margin analysis
* Improve actual results by analyzing budget to actuals for products, and stock movements
* Maintain and update standard costs in Microsoft AX
* Maintain flexible quoting model
* Prepare costing for new projects – both macro level and micro level
* Work with supply chain to optimize inventory level and mitigate risk
* Analyze closing inventory levels with production plans, reviewing deviations with the production planners/production
* Ownership of recommended inventory level plan
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
* Reconcile inventory – prepare all month end inventory and cost of goods sold related journal entries
* Responsible for the accounting for slow-moving/obsolete stocks according to the group's policy, as well as assistance with the action plan together with the Planning team in case of relevant deviations;
Skills Requirements:
* 5 years experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
* Experienced with the calculation and analysis of standard cost
* Excellent knowledge with Microsoft Office, MS Excel in particular
* Experience with Microsoft AX an asset
* Engineering background is an asset
* Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
* Organizational and priority management skills
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
