Role and Responsibilities  
How you make a difference
As a Category Manager at Samsung, you are fully responsible for managing your product group, covering both sales and operations. This includes pricing strategies, promotional plans, forecasting, and product launches, all while collaborating closely with various stakeholders. Success means hitting sales targets, achieving profit KPIs, and ensuring forecast accuracy, while also supporting the broader team’s goals.*Key Responsibilities: Product Marketing (40%)
The Category Manager determines and executes goals, prices and tactics of an E-store (Television & Audio) product category in line with the global and local guidelines. Coordinates the marketing strategies including product page, pricing, expense budgets, advertising, product launches and promotion plan. Determines and develops all product related marketing campaigns to achieve the commercial objectives, profit and brand awareness for the product group.* Report, Analyses and Forecast (30%)
Report status of the business plan, the progress and outlook on set goals & objectives on a regular basis. Creates deep dive segment analysis to have full insight into the marketing process. Analyzes market data (such as GFK) and presents the marketing plan/strategic plan.* Product Availability & Logistics (20%)
Maintains an optimal availability and optimal stock levels of the assigned Samsung product portfolio to have enough products to be sold directly to customers. Support the logistics and service issues, in line with the relevant policies, to determine a solid after sales process for an E-store (Television & Audio) product category.* Stakeholder management (10%)
Works and communicates efficiently with own team and other departments: (Television & Audio) Sales & Marketing division, Corporate Marketing, Logistics, Legal, Customer Service and Finance.
Your team
As a Category Manager, you’ll be part of a dynamic team of six (three Category Managers, two Supply Chain Managers, and a lead) within the Televisions and Audio team. You’ll collaborate with various teams across the E-Store organization and service operations to drive success across the Benelux region, requiring strong teamwork and frequent virtual meetings.

As our new Category Manager, you bring a strategic mindset and expertise in e-commerce and customer experience. You excel in product marketing, forecasting, and analytics, while your strong project management and attention to detail ensure success. Your excellent communication, collaboration, and flexibility make you a valuable team player with a commercial focus.  
We also request:* A completed HBO or WO master's degree in Commercial Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Minimal 5 years of relevant experience in category management or in a similar role.
* Experience in e-commerce is a plus.
* A good command of the Dutch and English language at a professional level.
* Skilled in using MS Office (Excel) and Power BI
