FactSet combines hundreds of databases from industry-leading suppliers into a single powerful information system.</p><p><strong>SUMMARY</strong><br>FactSet is currently seeking a Payment Application Senior Associate to join our finance department at our office in Hyderabad, India. This position requires a very high level of enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a desire to work with others in reconciling payment issues. Working under daily deadlines is a key element to success and ensuring process quality. This position reports directly to the Collection Manager. The Senior Associate, Order to Cash oversees the day-to-day actions of the Associate. The Senior Associate’s responsibilities include monitoring the Invoice Mailbox and responding to billing/collections emails from clients and salespeople, as well as creating new invoice accounts and payment application. This position also assists in hiring, training, and mentoring the Associate.</p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Download bank statement(s) daily for various currencies</li><li>Review and process Daily Bank Statements.</li><li>Research any items that have no remittance information.</li><li>Contact clients by email & phone to request payment information.</li><li>Reach out to other teams to see if payments belong to their entities.</li><li>Data entry of bank statement payment details.</li><li>Process payment into company Accounts Receivable systems.</li><li>Update deposit tracking spreadsheet.</li><li>Ensure that all details are updated daily & are accurate.</li><li>Month End Adjustments & Reconciliations</li><li>Managing a collection portfolio of clients</li><li>Liaison with sales and other teams to collect payment on invoices</li><li>Helping accounting team with AR reports for month end</li><li>Assist with special projects</li></ul><p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>B.Com or MBA graduates</li><li>Overall experience of 1 to 2 years in Order to Cash</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Previous payment application experience</li><li>Experience working in Workday & Salesforce tools</li><li>Customer facing experience, along with customer service & customer queries resolution</li><li>Detail oriented and focused</li><li>Data entry skills with accurate number proficiency</li><li>Analytical thinking to see and map different type of data points for reporting</li><li>Ability to multi-task and reason beyond the scope of normal daily routine</li><li>Willingness and ability to work independently and remotely from manager</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications</li></ul><p>At FactSet, we celebrate diversity of thought, experience, and perspective.
