<h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Project Planning<ul><li>Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and scope</li><li>Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets</li><li>Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel and materials</li></ul></li><li>Team Leadership<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional project teams</li><li>Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members</li><li>Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination</li></ul></li><li>Vendor and Supplier Management<ul><li>Source, select, and manage external vendors, suppliers, and contractors</li><li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize value and quality</li><li>Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to project specifications</li></ul></li><li>Budget Management<ul><li>Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies</li><li>Provide regular financial reports to clients and management</li></ul></li><li>Risk Assessment and Mitigation<ul><li>Identify potential project risks and develop risk management strategies</li><li>Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen issues</li><li>Proactively monitor and manage project risks to ensure successful outcomes</li></ul></li><li>Communication and Reporting<ul><li>Maintain open and effective communication channels with clients, team members, and stakeholders</li><li>Provide regular project status updates, performance reports, and post-event evaluations</li><li>Address client feedback and ensure high levels of client satisfaction</li></ul></li><li>Logistics and Operations<ul><li>Oversee logistics, including venue selection, transportation, accommodations, and equipment</li><li>Coordinate event setup, technical requirements, and on-site management</li><li>Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and industry regulations</li></ul></li><li>Post-Event Analysis<ul><li>Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the project and gather insights for improvement</li><li>Document best practices and lessons learned for future projects</li></ul></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Academic Qualifications<ul><li>Degree in event management, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus</li></ul></li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification from PMI or equivalent</li><li>Professional Experience<ul><li>At least 3 years of experience as an events manager in the event management industry</li><li>Leadership, organizational, and time management skills</li><li>Communication and negotiation abilities</li><li>In project management software and tools (i.e., Microsoft Project, Trello, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry, including trends, key players, and industry dynamics</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</li><li>Willingness to travel as required for on-site event management</li></ul></li><li>Languages<ul><li>Fluency in both written and spoken English is required (Arabic is desirable)</li></ul></li></ul><h3>What We Are Looking For</h3><p>This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in the event industry.
