<h3>ROLE</h3><p>Mansueto Ventures is looking for a Head of Communications to develop and execute the media PR strategy for its business media portfolio, including Fast Company’s editorial and publishing initiatives.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Build and execute a comprehensive communications strategy.</li><li>Create written materials including press releases and pitch letters.</li><li>Work with integrated marketing to ensure media kits are kept up to date.</li><li>Promote original journalism recognition programs and pitch to journalists.</li><li>Leverage relationships across business media to expand visibility.</li><li>Manage media inquiries and interview requests.</li><li>Develop and manage strategy for awards submissions and industry conferences.</li><li>Provide leadership and weekly reports on PR results to keep leadership apprised of industry coverage.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>7+ years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in a media company.</li><li>Sharp and effective communicator, both verbal and written.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and research skills.</li><li>Able to excel in a fast-paced environment with limited resources.</li><li>Team-oriented and highly collaborative.</li><li>Strong business acumen.</li></ul><p>Mansueto Ventures’ mission is to empower and inspire innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders through compelling journalism and diverse conversations.
