We are seeking an experienced Materials Planning professional to manage supply and demand planning, production schedules, and inventory. This role involves improving systems and processes, communicating order status and changes, and driving continuous improvement in scheduling. You will facilitate inventory consensus across sales, operations, and procurement while interacting with various business functions in Puerto Rico and Germany. What You Will Do * Take a coordinating lead and work closely with internal and external parties to gather and analyze data * Analyze spares data to help improve spares stocking levels and forecasting accuracy * Monitor and control finished goods inventory levels and customer delivery performance to achieve desired goals * Control excess inventory by evaluating high value purchase orders through the approval process * Collaborate with operations, planning, and supply chain to identify critical supply or demand issues * Maintain integrity reports and ensure system data accuracy driven by or impacting the demand planning team * Track appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement at the product family level * Manage planning strategies and ERP requirements across various aftermarket product lines to achieve on-time delivery to customer request date * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure inventory and service level targets are met * Develop reports and tools as needed to support the analytical needs of the Aftermarket organization * Monitors tracking and shipping. Performs escalated expediting when required to ensure on-time delivery of material. * Mitigates risks for short term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer delivery Qualifications You Must Have * Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience * U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract * Experience using Advanced user of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Qualifications We Prefer * Experience with material planning and forecasting operations * Experience with production planning and manufacturing operations * Experience utilizing formulas, pivot tables etc. in order to manipulate big data * Experience with a recognized planning system (JDE and/or SAP) in a production/operations environment * Basic understanding of bill of materials and drawings * Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. * Experience working in scheduling, coordinating, or related * Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related, preferred What We Offer Some of our competitive benefits package includes: * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees * Generous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds * Participation in the Employee Scholar Program (ESP) * Life insurance and disability coverage * Employee Assistance Plan, including up to 8 free counseling sessions * And more!
