<h3>Position Summary</h3><p>The Clinic CNA/Med Aide/CMA will support the daily functions of the Clinic under the direction of Clinic Nursing staff.</p><h3>Key Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Conducts patient rooming of clinic patients including obtaining vital signs, weight, height, and documenting in the medical record</li><li>Assists provider in exam room</li><li>Administers medication and injection to patients per orders of a licensed provider if within scope of practice</li><li>Answer phones calls and voicemails from patients</li><li>Acts a liaison between patients and providers with patient questions, issues</li><li>Manages patient follow-up of test results under the supervision/instruction of the provider</li><li>Demonstrate ability to perform the required minimum lab tests for patients to include blood sugar, hemoglobin, dip urinalysis, pregnancy test, hemoccult test, and culture preparation</li><li>Assists in monitoring and maintaining inventory control of clinic, office supplies, and stocking of rooms</li><li>Assists with day-to-day cleaning and Infection Control of the clinic exam rooms and department</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High School diploma or GED</li><li>Certified Nurses Aid in the State of Nebraska with</li><li>Medication Aid in the State of Nebraska OR</li><li>Certified Medical Assistant (C.M.A.)</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and modern office equipment</li></ul><h3>About Gothenburg Health</h3><p>Gothenburg Health is a critical access hospital and clinics located in Gothenburg, Nebraska.
