In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The selected candidate is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the design, Architecture and development of the EMEA projects for core banking applications.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Performing initial engagement with the business to determine concept designs, project estimates and provide technology guidance.</li><li>Develop High Level/E2E Design for EMEA projects.</li><li>Define end- to-end technical solution to address business requests. This includes -<ul><li>Defining use cases</li><li>Define AS-IS and TO-BE flows.</li><li>Document impact to each of the application in the flow, along with the details of change required.</li></ul></li><li>Involved in the design reviews, technical code reviews.</li><li>Work closely with Global Strategy and Architecture (GSA) to ensure alignment to the global strategy and resolve design issues.</li><li>Present end to end solution design & individual application impacts to the delivery teams in deliverable decomposition.</li><li>The number of impacted applications could range from 1 to 100+ depending on the project.</li><li>Review high level and low level (platform) design and testing strategy and support the development and testing teams as the solutions are built out.</li><li>Collaborate with Product and Operations to provide high-level solutions and estimates to engagement requests.</li><li>Peer review solution architecture designs produced by team members.</li><li>Responsible for end-to-end technology delivery of the assigned project and is the primary point of escalation for technology issues.</li><li>Highlight and escalate risks appropriately.</li><li>Drives overall technology execution and manages line of business stakeholder relationships and acts as their advocate throughout the life of the project.</li><li>Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation.</li><li>Accountable for hiring and building the talent within the teams.</li><li>Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies.</li><li>Effectively communicates with the team, managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.</li><li>Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change.</li><li>Strong program management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines and work across work streams seamlessly.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><p>B.E. / B. Tech. / MCA</p><p>Certifications (if any):</p><p>Experience Range: 12 – 17 Years</p><h3>Foundational Skills</h3><ul><li>Should have Experience between 12 to 15 years.</li><li>Strong Payments & Banking domain expertise.</li><li>Mainframe - COBOL, JCL, IMS, DB2, VSAM, MQ, API, and tools like Expeditor, Changeman, GIT bucket, Horizon, File manager, File Aid</li><li>Technology knowledge/ strength in emerging technologies</li><li>Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Efficient time management and prioritization skills</li><li>Self-driven personality rather than being told what to do.</li><li>Good eye for talent</li><li>Guides projects through all phases, ensuring processes are followed, required documents are completed, and reporting</li><li>Schedules and facilitates regular meetings to review progress and status, and adhoc topics; formulates agendas and documents minutes, action items.</li></ul><h3>Desired skills</h3><ul><li>Exposure to functional programming concepts</li><li>MS Visio</li></ul><p><strong>Work Timings:</strong> 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Hyderabad
