Faculty are offered extensive training and development in teaching strategies and are expected to participate in departmental and campus wide activities to support the needs of the students in meeting their learning outcomes.</h3><h3>Adjunct Paralegal Professor</h3><h3>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</h3><ul><li>Degree Requirements: Master’s degree in Paralegal field required.</li><li>Work Experience Requirements: Experience teaching at a college level is preferred.</li></ul><h3>ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS</h3><ul><li>Provide instruction with the focus on teaching and learning to help assure students I each class successfully meet all course outcomes and classroom objectives.</li><li>Participate in professional development activities that develop and enhance teaching and facilitation skills.</li><li>Participate in campus wide initiatives in support of recruitment, retention and graduation goal attainment including but not limited to, monitoring, adjusting (when needed), and assessing classroom program retention/graduation and meeting with program advisors on a regular basis to discuss student performance and academic concerns.</li><li>Fulfill all administrative duties related to instructional responsibilities</li></ul><p>Interested in teaching but are not sure it’s for you? Information about the total contract compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.</li><li>Adjuncts sign a contract with the Dean at the beginning of each term that outlines the class, contact hours, the dates and time of class. Campus based classes are 15 weeks and are paid bi-monthly over an 8-paycheck time frame.
