They analyze the activities and interests of countries, regions, and non-state entities, as well as the impact of natural and man-made disasters. In addition, these analysts conduct multi-INT research, populate and exploit intelligence databases, and produce and disseminate intelligence products.</p><h3>Promotion Opportunity</h3><p>PROMOTION OPPORTUNITY: Promotion opportunities allow applicants at all band levels to be considered. NGA will emphasize quality of experience, rather than duration, and assess how the quality of the experience demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance in the NGA occupational structure.</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This NGA officer will apply leadership and analytic experience to lead Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM) tool validation production and mission responsibilities filling a critical role for the entire Joint Targeting enterprise. The officer will present complex analysis in a logical, clear, collaborative and concise manner using the full scope of NGA and IC reporting and collaboration mechanisms to high level internal and external audiences. The officer will guide NGA's Analytic Team as it applies diverse analytic techniques to ensure precise custom geospatial intelligence and geographic content for verification and validation of targeting software tools in support of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) and Allied system for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG) targeting communities. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience working in an Intelligence discipline analyzing and interpreting imagery and maintaining and building tasking strategies, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C.
