<h3>Job Summary:</h3>
<p>Trileaf is seeking a full-time, Project Scientist with at least 2 / 0-5 years of field experience conducting environmental due diligence work on commercial real estate projects, to include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs) and Phase II ESAs. This position will be based in our St. Louis, MO office.</p>
<h3>Essential Job Functions:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site (3-4 days per week)</li>
<li>Conducting interviews, in person, via email, and phone</li>
<li>Ordering & analyzing government database records</li>
<li>Performing regulatory agency file reviews</li>
<li>Reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs)</li>
<li>Drafting of a standardized report using information from these various sources</li>
<li>Perform QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients</li>
<li>Completing requested revisions & submitting report within pre-established timelines</li>
<li>Conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air</li>
<li>Compare analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards</li>
</ul>
<h3>Basic Qualifications:</h3>

<h3>Preferred Qualifications / Experience:</h3>
<ul>
<li>40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification</li>
<li>Licensed Asbestos Inspector</li>
<li>Management</li>
<li>Mold assessment experience</li>
<li>Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM E1903)</li>
<li>Property Condition Assessments (ASTM E2018)</li>
<li>Transaction Screen Assessments (ASTM E1528)</li>
<li>Record Search with Risk Assessments (SBA SOP 50 10 6)</li>
<li>Environmental Professional (EP)</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education:</h3>
<p>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields</p>
