 The M365 Transport team provides the messaging services for many of the Office 365 features. One obvious example would be Email, but the same messaging infrastructure is truly critical to many other features just as well, and currently handling several tens of billion messages per day.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 The code this team works on powers the world&rsquo;s largest application service impacting hundreds of millions of individuals every single day. We work with technologies such as .NET Core (including TAP and multithreading), web services, distributed caches, big data analytics, open source libraries and Azure services. And if necessary, we have access to a variety of professional experts to ask for assistance and learn from.   Responsibilities

   A strong sense of ownership and level of autonomy.
  </li>
  <li>
   Design and deliver features end to end in a complex high scale environment that are &lsquo;serviceable&rsquo;, low maintenance and with provable quality.
  </li>

   Collaborate with other engineers, program managers, and designers across the MS365 organization and beyond to deliver end-to-end solutions
  </li>
  <li>
   Drive innovation and quality in our engineering processes and practices, and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and learning. Mentor other engineers and help them achieve more and grow.
  </li>
  <li>
   Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the identity and security domains and apply them to our products and services.

  Qualifications

   Degree in Computer Science or related field (OR equivalent work experience)
  </li>
  <li>
   Commitment to a Growth Mindset and customer focus.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong technical problem solving, communication and mentoring skills.
  </li>
  <li>
   Principal/Lead Engineer level experience in software development, including DevOps and distributed systems.
