 We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time construction Superintendent based in our Baldwin Park, CA office.  The Superintendent oversees construction of new restaurants, the fabricators, carpenters and installers, as well as various subcontractors.  The Superintendent works with and reports to the Construction Field Manager.

 General Responsibilities
 <br/>
 <br/>
 * Monitor construction projects from planning to completion of In-N-Out Burger restaurants, including tasks such as coordinating and scheduling
 <br/>
 * Directly responsible for the scheduling of work assignments for all tradesmen involved with a project
 <br/>
 * Keep track of project progress; Monitor and report on project progress
 <br/>
 * Reports and travels daily to the construction project site
 <br/>
 * Collaborates with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
 <br/>
 * Schedule and inspect the work performed by the construction team, tradespeople, vendors, and subcontractors
 <br/>
 * Oversee staff performance; Provide feedback as needed to assure adherence to the plans and quality standards
 <br/>
 * Administrative duties, such as the review and negotiation of proposals, change orders, and invoices and maintaining activity and safety records
 <br/>
 * Ensure projects are delivered successfully and on time
 <br/>
 * Follow quality, health and safety standards on the construction site
 <br/>

 * Pay Range is $116,000-$145,000
 <br/>
 The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.	* Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
 <br/>
 * Office location: Baldwin Park, CA
 <br/>
 * Travel: Approximately 90% of time will be spent in the field traveling and being on project sites in the states where In-N-Out Burger operates: CA, NV, AZ, TX, UT, OR, CO and ID
 <br/>

 Qualifications
 <br/>
 <br/>
 * Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field; will accept strong work experience in lieu of a degree
 <br/>
 * Minimum of 4-6 years experience in carpentry, construction, and related fields
 <br/>
 * Must have 2 years of leadership experience in a construction superintendent, management or supervisory role
 <br/>
 * In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
 <br/>
 * Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
 <br/>
 * Quick Service Restaurant construction experience would be a plus
 <br/>
 * Excellent communication skills; requires strong collaboration with construction workers, architects and engineers, etc.
 <br/>
 * Strong problem solver; be able to resolve on-site issues and emergencies
 <br/>
 * Leadership ability to lead and inspire the team
 <br/>
 * Communication and project management skills
 <br/>
 * Strong attention to detail and good time management; Team player
 <br/>
 * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Apply good judgment in decision making
 <br/>
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and strong human relations skills
 <br/>
 * Creative problem solving abilities and outstanding organizational skills
 <br/>
 * Strong computer proficiency; Excellent in MS Office applications
 <br/>
 * CA driver&rsquo;s license in good standing
