  Position Summary

 Impyrian is seeking a skilled, experienced and hands-on Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects with a strong focus on quality control and health &amp; safety management. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded, hands-on, and responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

  Key Responsibilities

 <ul>

   Project Management:
  </li>
  <li>
   Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met according to the project schedule.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
  </li>
  <li>
   Quality Control:
  </li>
  <li>
   Implement and enforce quality control plans and procedures.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  </li>
  <li>
   Identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain detailed documentation of quality control activities according to Impyrian standards.
  </li>
  <li>
   Health &amp; Safety Management:
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct regular safety meetings, trainings, and toolbox talks.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure all site personnel comply with safety regulations and practices.
  </li>
  <li>
   Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Communication and Reporting:
  </li>
  <li>
   Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients.
  </li>
  <li>
   Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project.
  </li>
  <li>
   Documentation and Compliance:
  </li>
  <li>
   Create and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage and document any changes to the project scope.

  Qualifications

   Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on quality control and health &amp; safety.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and standards.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficient in project management software and tools.
  </li>
  <li>
   OSHA certification or equivalent health &amp; safety training.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
