 Responsibilities:
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Prepare for visit by pulling diagnostic reports (labs, x-rays)
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures
  </li>
  <li>
   Process all the paperwork in the Provider&rsquo;s outbox
  </li>
  <li>
   Assessing patient condition for the provider
  </li>
  <li>
   Administering injections
  </li>
  <li>
   Assisting with out-patient procedures
  </li>
  <li>
   Follow up with patient regarding lab results
  </li>
  <li>
   Call patients to schedule follow-up appointments as directed by the Provider
  </li>
  <li>
   Clean and sanitize patient rooms between appointments
  </li>
  <li>
   Clean, Wash, and sterilize equipment per autoclave process
  </li>
  <li>
   Collect urine samples and perform routine tests directed by the Provider; prepare other specimens for testing or lab pickup
  </li>
  <li>
   Send medication refills as directed by the Provider
  </li>
  <li>
   Stock assigned patient rooms daily and as needed to maintain proper inventory
  </li>
  <li>
   Specimen collections and processing
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform Biohazard maintenance (check all sharps containers and biohazard trash cans.)
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate referral of services to and from other Health Care Providers
  </li>
  <li>
   Performs vital signs accurately including BMI for &gt;2 years old. If there are red readings, repeat for accuracy, especially the Blood Pressure. If necessary, use the right size cuff for manual reading
  </li>
  <li>
   Acting as the liaison between a provider and his/her patients and another medical office
  </li>
  <li>
   Answer phone calls and e-mails, returning messages within 24 hours
  </li>
  <li>
   PSI has 4 locations. Occasionally, due to staffing needs, you must be willing to travel to any of these sites: (Sacramento, Folsom, Elk Grove, or Vacaville)
