   Position Overview:

  We are seeking an experienced Assistant Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the senior designer in coordinating and managing the selection process for custom home projects. This position requires an understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail and organization.

   Responsibilities:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Support the design team in creating and refining design concepts.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct research on industry trends to assist in the development of new products and designs.
  </li>
  <li>
   Produce detailed sketches and draft designs using both traditional methods and design software.
  </li>
  <li>
   Source and liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain materials and products.
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in client meetings, presenting ideas and gathering feedback.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage and maintain project documentation and handle administrative tasks related to design projects.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure high standards of production and quality control are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  </li>
  <li>
   Stay updated with the latest design techniques and industry standards.
  </li>
 </ul>
 <p>
  The role of an assistant designer is integral to the smooth functioning of a design team, providing essential support that ensures projects are completed successfully and efficiently.
 </p>

   Qualifications:
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Associates degree in Interior Design, or a related field.
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum of 1 years of experience in Interior Design or related construction experience.
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and finishes.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  </li>
  <li>
   Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  </li>
  <li>
   SketchUp knowledge and use is a must
  </li>
 </ul>
