<div> Job Details <br/> <br/> <strong> Description <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Grade 5 - Help Desk Support Specialist <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Salary: </strong> $55,000 to $65,000 (Offer will be commensurate with experience) <br/> <br/> <strong> Benefits offered for this opportunity: </strong> <strong> 2024-Non-Union Benefits Summary <br/> <br/> </strong> <strong> Role Summary <br/> <br/> </strong> Provides first line technical support to the City’s Information Technology (IT) users. Responds to a variety of service requests including, troubleshooting of software, hardware and network issues, implements new hardware/software, documents procedures, problems and resolutions. Works on related IT projects. <br/> <br/> <strong> Education, Training And Experience Required <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field </li> <li> Professional experience in working with computers and applications: at least 1 year </li> <li> Knowledge of computer hardware, software and networks </li> <li> Have or be able to obtain Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification within one (1)year of date-of-hire </li> <li> Have or be able to obtain Comp TIA A+ Certification within one (1) year of date-of-hire. <br/> <br/> </li> </ul> <strong> Education, Training And Experience Preferred <br/> <br/> </strong> <ul> <li> Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field </li> <li> At least two years of experience in working with computers and applications </li> <li> Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Specialist certification </li> <li> Knowledge and experience in computer programming/scripting <br/> <br/> </li> </ul> <strong> Licensing </strong> <strong> Requirements </strong> (position requirements at entry) <br/> <br/> <ul> <li> Valid MI Driver’s License <br/> <br/> </li> </ul> <strong> View Additional Requirements and Information at: </strong> <strong> Help Desk Support Specialist </strong> </div>
