  Position Summary

 </strong>
 Assists customers in the selection and purchase of products sold in the Retail Store. Performs retail activities including, but not limited to, operation of the cash register, stocking of merchandise, operation of heat seal equipment, etc. Must demonstrate an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.

  Specific Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 Utilize proven soft-sell and service strategies to meet customer needs and help the store meet all financial metrics.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Assist customers in the selection and substitution of merchandise.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Maintain assigned area of store merchandise ensuring product is arranged in accordance with style, color and size; products are neatly and evenly spaced / folded with hang tags properly fastened. Is responsible for performing end of day check of assigned area before close of business each day.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Operate cash register and / or heat seal machine as assigned.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Address all customer needs, alerting Store Manager or Senior Sales Associate of any issues.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Ensure discount policies are properly applied and understood by customers as needed.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Answer phones and complete daily administrative activities as needed.

  Minimum Qualifications
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 High school degree preferred. Strong sales and communication skills. Knowledge of retail practices. High attention to detail.

 <br/>
 <strong>
  Minimum Job Experience Required
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
