 NORD is seeking a dynamic Web Content Manager to lead our website initiatives, ensuring a seamless and engaging online presence. Reporting to the Director of Content, this critical role will serve as the product owner for NORD's websites, including content generation, site architecture, user experience, SEO, and analytics reporting. This position provides an opportunity for a talented individual to be a part of a dynamic and growing Marketing Communications department and will play a key role in the evolution of the organization&rsquo;s primary Website.

  Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 Serve as the primary owner of NORD's websites, ensuring optimal user experience and functionality, overseeing content creation, updates, design, and maintenance.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Write, edit, maintain, audit, and publish website and digital content in alignment with the organization&rsquo;s communication and marketing strategy.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Oversees Website content calendar and integrate with Marketing Communications teams for effective communication, outreach, campaign execution and stakeholder engagement.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Be a subject matter expert for all website/landing page technologies in our marketing technology stack, working collaboratively with IT and as an active voice in architecture and UI/UX decisions and oversight.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Implement SEO strategies to enhance online visibility and reach target audiences effectively.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to optimize website performance and user engagement.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Prioritize and champion a user-centric approach to ensure an exceptional online experience for all stakeholders.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Work with IT and Web Development team to ensure accessibility standards, making NORD's Web platforms inclusive and accessible to diverse audiences and collaborate with IT to ensure compliance with all regulations and appropriate security standards.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Explore opportunities to generate revenue.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Develop policies and procedures relating to organizational Web content.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance NORD's digital presence.

 <br/>
 Perform other duties as assigned.

  Education/Experience
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field is required.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, web management, or a related role is required.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Experience with publishing, online advertising or other revenue generating industry preferred.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Experience in the rare disease, public health and/or patient advocacy sector preferred.

  Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

 Passion for NORD&rsquo;s mission.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends, SEO, and analytics.

 Experience with website management and content management systems.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Ability to see the big picture and manage details, along with an agile approach to website development.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Strong project management skills, organizational abilities, and superior attention to detail.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of work.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, WordPress, Meltwater, PRNewswire/Cision, Sprout Social or other social media management tools; and willingness to learn new systems as required.

 This position may be fully telecommuting or hybrid to any of NORD&rsquo;s offices (Washington, DC, Danbury, CT or Quincy, MA). Occasional travel is required.
