  Position Overview:

 We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time School Social Worker to join our team and foster positive transformation in the lives of elementary school students.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>

   Hours: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM (approximately)
  </li>
  <li>
   Duration: August 15th - May 30th
  </li>
  <li>
   Employment Type: Part-time (.4 FTE)
  </li>
  <li>
   Location: Barrington, IL

  In this position, you will:

  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Play a crucial part in supporting students from Kindergarten through 5th grade
  </li>
  <li>
   Work within one school building with a collaborative and supportive team
  </li>
  <li>
   Participate in regular department meetings
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide targeted support to identified students, focusing on their social, emotional, and academic well-being
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to best meet student needs

  Responsibilities:
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Provide targeted support to identified students in the elementary setting
  </li>
  <li>
   Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success
  </li>
  <li>
   Advocate for students&rsquo; holistic welfare (social, emotional, academic)
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs
  </li>
  <li>
   Facilitate IEP meetings and develop interventions to ensure IEP effectiveness
  </li>
  <li>
   Additional duties as assigned

  </li>

 <strong>
  Qualifications:
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Master&rsquo;s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
  </li>
  <li>
   License eligible in the State of Illinois
  </li>
  <li>
   Previous experience in an elementary school setting is preferred
   <br/>
   <br/>
  </li>
 </ul>
