 <p>
  We need an Audio SQA engineer who is committed to quality and passionate about customer experience. The candidate will perform audio validation activities during the development stage of our future audio products and sustaining programs. The candidate will use sophisticated and highly specialized audio measurement equipment to validate the audio performance of our systems. The candidate will be involved in creating test-plans and executing test-cases according to test-plan. The candidate will listen to our devices and will utilize our internal bug management system for reporting defects. The candidate will work cross-functionally with development and project management teams in the process of triaging and resolving audio-related system bugs.

  &bull; Fundamental understanding of systems engineering principles (requirements, specifications, verification, validation)
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Fundamental understanding of QA principles and good practices (regression testing, functional testing, stress vs. load testing)
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Understanding of Audio products and usage of tools to verify the audio features
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Experience on Linux command-line(bash scripting) and familiarity with Linux or Linux-kind of operating systems
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Experience across Python is required
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Experience with programming languages such as Java or C/C++ is a plus
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills(Debug and localize the problem, Cross validate problem with firmware/Hardware/versions &amp; provide traceability)
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Candidate should have structured communication(writing emails with details of the problem, scenario when and how its observed, different configurations based problems, situation and reason of failure), and well organized testing &amp; reporting both email/verbal.
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Development experience with programming languages such as Python or Java or C/C++ is aplus
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Fundamental understanding of audio signal processing and audio measurement tools is a plus
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; 1+ years of tech-industry experience in similar role is a plus
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Test automation experience in plus
 </p>
 <p>

   Must-haves for Audio SQA Engineer

  &bull; At least 1+ years of QA experience in a similar role
 </p>

  &bull; Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

  &bull; Basic technical skills such as navigating a Linux-like OS via command-line / Terminal
 </p>

  &bull; Knowledge of at least one C-like programming language
 </p>
 <p>
  &bull; Strong intuition and understanding of debugging and troubleshooting best practices
 </p>
 <p>
  (e.g. how to isolate a defect? regression testing)
 </p>

  Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical
