   Job Descriptions
  </strong>
 </p>
 <p>
  1.Reporting to Head of Legal for Europe, AliExpress, advise on legal aspects of the platform&rsquo;s international expansion of current and proposed new e-commerce offerings.
 </p>
 <p>
  2.Provide advice to business teams on legal aspects of the implementation of commercial agreements, business models and strategies, business operations, marketing activities, and product offerings.
 </p>
 <p>
  3.Research local laws and regulations in the local jurisdictions and manage outside counsel.
 </p>
 <p>
  4.Support on regulatory enquiries, including but not limited to Requests for Information (RFI) under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) or other legislation.
 </p>
 <p>
  5.Provide advice on platform compliance, product listing compliance, local and cross border logistics, import/export and payment acceptance.
 </p>
 <p>
  6.Negotiate, draft, and review contracts and commercial agreements.
 </p>
 <p>
  7.Develop in-house legal tools and policies, and conduct trainings to business units.
 </p>

   Qulifications
  </strong>
 </p>
 <p>
  1.Legal license to practice as a EU qualified lawyer (preferably in Spain, Poland or the Netherlands) or in the UK, can consider bar admission in another EU jurisdiction or other Commonwealth jurisdictions
 </p>
 <p>
  2.For senior legal counsel, 10+ years, and for legal counsel, at least 7 years of post-qualification experience at a leading law firm and/or corporation. In-house experience is highly welcome, strong preference for e-commerce/tech related.
 </p>
 <p>
  3.Experience with e-commerce, and/or cross-border trade transactions (such as import/export, logistics, payments, financing, etc.) preferred.
 </p>
 <p>
  4.English language proficiency is essential. Strong plus to have fluency in another European language (preferably Spanish, Polish or Dutch) and/or in Chinese (i.e. ability to hold business meetings, as well as reading and writing).
 </p>
 <p>
  5.Highly-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure in a start-up environment.
 </p>
 <p>
  6.Sincere interest in technology, innovation and business. Strong commercial sense with solid foundation in legal training.
 </p>
 <p>
  7.High integrity and desire to collaborate with others.
 </p>
 <p>
  8.Open to frequent international travel within Europe and/or to China (Hangzhou headquarters and Hong Kong).
 </p>
