Job Description

The Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, OH is further expanding its provider coverage and has immediate openings for two BC/BE Emergency Medicine physicians desiring a long-term career position. This is a single-site full-service community hospital Emergency Department with over 50,000 annual visits. The ED is designated as a Level 2 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center, and is the only ED in the nation with a cardiac catheterization lab located within the department.
The department is staffed by a well-established, collegial and stable group of Cleveland Clinic-affiliated board-certified emergency medicine physicians and advanced practice providers. Though affiliated with the Clinic, the physician group is locally led and solely responsible for its own scheduling, which is equitable from day-one. Compensation is excellent, with a starting annual salary range of 347K to 405K (depending on prior EM work experience) for a monthly time commitment of 15 nine-hour shifts (including one-hour overlap), and a target workload of 1.5 PPH. Additional benefits include CME, excellent and affordable Clinic health insurance, multiple retirement savings options, and fully indemnified malpractice coverage with tail.
A full-time nocturnist would be especially desirable, with a reduced monthly time commitment of only 13.5 nine-hour shifts (including one-hour overlap), unchanged compensation, and the ability to self-schedule.
