### Responsibilities:
* Build scalable architecture and products that shape the future of video software.
* Ensure high uptimes and performance, of all engineering systems in your area, for Captions' users.
* Collaborate with the broader team to conceptualize and ship incredible experiences directly to Captions' users.
### Requirements
* Our team is in-person at our office in Union Square, New York City.
* 3+ years as a backend engineer.
* Experience building distributed systems using GCP and AWS, NoSQL databases, PubSub, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
* Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms and data structures).
* Plus: Experience with GPU management, sharing, optimization at scale.

Compensation Range: $130K - $170K
