 Part-time instructors will teach groups of students from Year 4 to Year 6 on a weekly basis during school hours. They are expected to engage, inspire, and motivate students to study instrumental music, encouraging them to share music through performances. The instructors should be able to teach students at a beginner level as a group and demonstrate good classroom management skills.

  Job Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Teaching instrumental music (any strings and wind instrument) on a weekly basis to small groups in Y4-6, assigned by the Arts Programme Officer.
  </li>
  <li>
   Providing students with a programme of learning tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
  </li>
  <li>
   Teach basic music theory to support the learning of the instrument
  </li>
  <li>
   Participation in and/or direction of instrumental ensembles where required by and in cooperation with the Arts Programme Officer
  </li>
  <li>
   Preparation of students for CIP Assembly class performance and other performance opportunities within the school as advised by the Arts Programme Officer.
  </li>
  <li>
   Attendance at evening End of Year Concerts (you will be remunerated for these events).
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare report and evaluation for each student.
  </li>
  <li>
   Attend CIP teacher meetings.

  Job Requirements

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   A recognized university degree/diploma in music, AND/OR
  </li>
  <li>
   Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Diploma or equivalent
  </li>
  <li>
   At least 2-year teaching experience
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrate good level of performance standard
  </li>
  <li>
   Good class management skills, patience, works independently, enjoys working with children/youth

  </li>
 </ul>
