PART-TIME ASSISTANT / COORDINATOR FOR AN LA BASED WOMEN'S SEPARATES CLOTHING LINE.
Assistance with all aspects of manufacturing a women's clothing line - duties include:
-working with a team of freelance employees all over dtla and surrounds to manufacture clothing from start to finish
-meet with designer/owner weekly to figure out work flow for the week
-meet with grader to discuss markers
-work with cutters to oversee garment cutting
-work with sewing contractors to ensure schedule & oversee work
-quality control throughout
-work with dyehouses to account for garments, colors & quality
-oversee finishing of garments with contractors
-source fabrics, button & trims
-write a daily recap for owner /designer
-Reliable car for running around is a must
-Good communication skills and top organization a must
-Flexible hours ok
-Manufacturing experience a plus, but most necessary is the desire to learn the manufacturing process & stay in the position for over 6 months  
-Maintain flexible hours around a changing work cycle that is seasonally based
