The team is led by Claire Lebarz, Chief Data & AI Officer @ Malt, and former Head of Data @ Airbnb. Join us and become part of the #FutureOfwork!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>✨ Develop a deep understanding of our freelancers and clients and how they interact with each other and with our product</li> <li>Be a partner to product and business teams across the marketplace, helping them to better understand their performance through strategic analytics and structured thinking</li> <li>Support our most strategic topics with deep-dive analytics, insights, recommendations</li> <li>Empower the teams across Malt to answer data questions quickly and easily by building high-quality ground truth data sets, metrics and dashboards.</li> <li>Contribute to the modelization of our databases and semantic layer along with analytics engineers</li> <li>Be a key member of the data team, helping spread the data and AI culture within Malt</li> </ul> <p>About you</p> <ul> <li>You have a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research) or in Business</li> <li>You have +5 years of experience as a data analyst in a fast-paced and quantitative environment (start-up, scale-up, consulting…)</li> <li>You consider yourself a full-stack data analyst: You write SQL perfectly, you know how to work with ETLs, you’ve been using data modelization tools such as dbt, you can write simple Python scripts…</li> <li>You are also very comfortable in using data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Metabase, Tableau…)</li> <li>You have strong communication (written and oral), presentation-building and storytelling skills</li> <li>You are fluent in English</li> <li>You are curious and eager to learn new things and grow</li> </ul> <p>What makes you different from others?</p> <ul> <li>You have good business acumen, but you also have a “hacker” mindset, you enjoy leveraging technology to find solutions to problems</li> <li>You have a growth mindset: you are comfortable in navigating and excelling in fast-paced environments with no playbook for success</li> <li>You have an ability to influence people, but you are also a strong team player</li> </ul> <p>How to join the mission?</p> <ol> <li>Screening with Alex, our Tech Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions (45 minutes)</li> <li>Take home technical assessment with the Data Director (Gautier Chenard), one Data Analyst and another member of the data team (60mn)</li> <li>Past Presentation project and restitution to the Data Director, one member of Ops team and one Product Manager (1h)</li> <li>Interview with Claire, our Chief Data Officer (30mn)</li> </ol> <p>Malt is the perfect space to thrive personally and professionally</p> <ul> <li>Onboarding: Before easing into your new role, you’ll spend your first week learning about our culture, products, and services with other onboardees at our office in Paris</li> <li>Equity: Every Malter is entitled to stock options</li> <li>Lunch vouchers (legal benefit): €9/day on your Swile card.</li> <li>Transportation (legal benefit): 50% reimbursement (any type of transport)</li> <li>Healthcare insurance (legal benefit)</li> <li>RTT: From 8 to 12 days off</li> <li>Sports: Company participation to a Gymlib membership</li> <li>Malt sabbatical: Every three years, Malters is entitled to a one month paid sabbatical leave.</li> <li>Free books: If you’re interested in learning more about any topic relevant to Malt’s business, just tell us the books you’d like to read, and we’ll order them for you—without any questions asked or approval processes to follow.</li> <li>Remote work: Hybrid remote policy</li> <li>Annual team building events</li> </ul> <p>Ready?
