<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Senior Operations Manager</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Mohali</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations within the FCI (Food, Consumer Goods, and Industrial) industry. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while optimizing resource allocation and enhancing team performance.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Operational Leadership:</strong> Manage day-to-day operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are met. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.</li><li><strong>Team Management:</strong> Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team. Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.</li><li><strong>Process Optimization:</strong> Analyze operational processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.</li><li><strong>Quality Assurance:</strong> Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards. Oversee quality control processes and drive initiatives to maintain product quality.</li><li><strong>Budget Management:</strong> Manage operational budgets and control costs to maximize profitability. Monitor financial performance and provide reports to senior management.</li><li><strong>Supply Chain Coordination:</strong> Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods. Maintain inventory levels and optimize stock management processes.</li><li><strong>Safety and Compliance:</strong> Promote a culture of safety within the operations team. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and industry standards.</li><li><strong>Reporting and Analysis:</strong> Prepare regular reports on operational performance, KPIs, and improvement initiatives. Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and operational enhancements.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ years of experience in operations management in FCI industry. Proven track record of leading teams and managing large-scale production processes.</li><li><strong>Skills:</strong> Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management.</li><li><strong>Technical Proficiency:</strong> Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.</li><li><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong> Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
