Job Description

*We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to take on the role as Manager Service Management Office (SMO) within Stena Group IT. You will be responsible for a team of process owners including our IT Service Management platform, ServiceNow, and you will be reporting to the Head of CIO Office.*
About the role
- Leading the SMO team and ensuring the team deliveries will be your responsibility. The assurance accountability for operational service quality, continuity, compliance, and performance will be assigned to you. You have the leading role related to service compliance, performance, and core process harmonization.
- The role is responsible for achieving benefits from standardizing and following service management policies, processes, and methods being leveraged by our full-service delivery.
- You are responsible for developing and anchoring methodologies, processes, models, and the ITSM tool within the organization and its stakeholders. Within this role you will maintain overall process performance and compliance and provide service management reporting.
About you
- You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a SMO position, either as lead or process manager and you are an expert on the ITIL Best Practice and how to apply and manage it in practice, i.e. making it “fit for purpose, fit for use”. You have deep knowledge in IT Service Delivery and Service Integration and Management (SIAM). Knowledge about ITSM Platforms (preferably ServiceNow) is a must.
- You are an experienced, inspiring, and inclusive leader who enjoys taking ownership and foster engagement. You’re structured, analytical and use agile ways of working – you’re able to solve problems and make decisions in uncertain business situations. With your business and solution-oriented mindset, you’re self-motivated and able to drive things forward. You communicate effectively and build trusting networks across com and at all levels of our global organization. Given your position in a global company, excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, are essential.
