  Are you passionate about providing professional support, sharing knowledge and experience, offering training and advice to vessel Ship Management Teams?
 </strong>
 If so, this role is for you. As our Fleet Safety Superintendent, you will travel to various routes where our vessels operate, conducting audits, onboard safety inspections, and necessary training. Your work will align with our company requirements and the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and Pollution Prevention.

 Some of your key responsibilities:
 <br/>
 <br/>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Implementing International Safety Management (ISM) Code and other legislative requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform audits per the requirements of the Company&rsquo;s Management System.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assisting with accident and/or incident investigations, recording the details, and preparing any associated report(s).
  </li>
  <li>
   Assisting with onboard training and induction of personnel.
  </li>
  <li>
   Safety observations analysis and feedback reporting as required
  </li>
  <li>
   Identifying documentation amendments/revisions to meet identified needs in the development of the Company&rsquo;s Management System.
  </li>
  <li>
   Liaising with classification societies and flag state administrations on matters related to the Company Safety Management System as required by the Line Manager and Senior Management.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conducting HSEQ inductions for new Senior Officers and HSEQ briefings with visiting Senior Officers.

 Qualifications:

   Experience working onboard, sailing as a Deck Officer or Engine Officer
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong understanding of the key concepts of Health and Safety
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of ISM and understanding of ISO standards and codes
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge of incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis
  </li>
  <li>
   Driver&rsquo;s license B
  </li>
  <li>
   Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken

 This is a full-time, permanent position within our Fleet Operations &ndash; Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Department.
