About Information Security
Information Security is a dynamic and growing global team within Group Security. Our mission is to safeguard Volvo Group's information assets by establishing, managing, and governing policies, directives and guidelines for Information Security on Enterprise IT, Operational Technology and Product Cybersecurity. We ensure compliance with laws and regulations, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and support the crisis and incident management teams in response of security incidents. Our goal is to promote a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management among all employees.
The BISO Network
Our Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) are the vital link between the Information Security team and our business units. The BISOs align security strategies with business goals, ensuring a cohesive and robust information security framework across the organization. We are currently seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to lead and coordinate the BISO network, driving its success and fostering strong collaboration between teams. The person will work closely together with the group CISO.
Position: Business Information Security Officer (BISO) Relationship Development & Change Manager
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with BISOs across the Volvo Group to foster strong and valuable relationships.
* Collect needs from BISOs to ensure the information security policies and procedures are relevant and effective for the business units.
* Coordinate activities between the Information Security function and BISOs, ensuring consistent communication and sharing of best practices.
* Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, monitor compliance with regulations, and assist with risk assessments.
* Plan and coordinate Information Security Council meetings with BISO participation.
* Design and implement change management plans to ensure directives, frameworks, and guidelines are understood and followed by business units.
     - Organize training sessions or workshops for selected stakeholders.
     - Establish feedback mechanisms to gather input.
     - Collaborate with Change & Training and Group Security Communication to develop awareness campaigns and ensure the right trainings are in place.
* Participate in various Information Security projects and initiatives.
* Provide support to functions when needed in ex. incident or investigation situations.
Appreciated Attributes:
* Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Communication, or a related field.
* Over 6 years of experience in product cybersecurity, information risk management, information security, or cybersecurity.
* Strong ability to articulate information security concepts, work and communicate effectively with different management levels, diverse teams, and auditors.
* CISM certification.
* Excellent social skills and a team player.
* Highly motivated to network and connect.
* Excellent writing and communication skills.
* Experience managing various communication channels.
* Demonstrated project management experience.
* Highly organized and structured.
* In-depth understanding of information security standards and best practices (including ISO 27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework).
