<h3>Description & Requirements</h3>
<p>Infor is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead and grow a team of talented engineers responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Infor ERPA XA product on the IBMi / iSeries platform. This role requires a dynamic, motivated self-starter professional and can thrive in a constantly evolving environment. As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects, managing & growing the team, managing technology in projects, and providing guidance to the team.</p>
<h3>Basic Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or related field preferred.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience on RPG, SQL RPGLE, CLLE, Free format RPG, DB2 for IBM i and SQL.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience in development and maintenance of ERP Systems</li>
<li>Experience with ERP XA and/or IDF.</li>
<li>Experience in Java technologies.</li>
<li>Good communication skills and comfortability speaking in small group settings.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills.</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task; Self-teacher in acquiring technical skills.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead and grow a team of talented engineers responsible for development and maintenance of Infor ERPA XA product.</li>
<li>Provide direction and oversight for entry-level to mid-level software engineers.</li>
<li>Identifies technology improvements, explore potential alternatives, and proposes technology changes to meet business needs and improve operational efficiencies.</li>
<li>Lead software development projects; Manage project scope; Identify project risks and escalate to management as needed.</li>
<li>Build and maintain project budgets, ensure project goals are achieved.</li>
<li>Collaborates with cross-functional business and technology teams to meet business requirements.</li>
<li>Coach project managers, scrum masters, manage interdependencies within projects.</li>
<li>Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Develops metrics and dashboards to monitor progress and productivity of the team.</li>
<li>Participates in design meetings, provide technical inputs, guides the team on estimating software development projects.</li>
<li>Ensure processes, technical best practices are constantly improved and enforced; Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, learning, and respect for team members.</li>
