 We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Vice President of Business Development to join our leadership team, reporting directly to the EVP &amp; Managing Director for the Nordics. The primary focus of this role is to collaborate closely with our sales leaders and wider leadership team to identify and implement new business opportunities and cross-functional initiatives within the Nordic region.

  Key Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Work in partnership with Nordic sales leaders (e.g. Distribution, Ad Sales, Licensing etc) to identify and deliver new business models and opportunities to drive revenue growth for our networks, streaming and studio business
  </li>
  <li>
   Challenge the status-quo to build partnership models aligned to strategic priorities and help to enhance the presence of WBD in the Nordic market
  </li>
  <li>
   Establish processes and align teams to maximise the performance of our content and key franchises, leveraging the full strength of our portfolio and products
  </li>
  <li>
   In partnership with finance, build and implement financial models as well as activity tracking plans as required to ensure that business relations are properly maintained to deliver financial targets
  </li>
  <li>
   Seek ways to mitigate downward pressure on traditional pay tv models
  </li>
  <li>
   Leverage strong analytical skills to assess WBD and wider market trends, drive data-informed decisions and advise on cross platform deal negotiations encompassing multiple revenue streams
  </li>
  <li>
   Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to overall company goals

  Skills, Experience And Requirements
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Proven experience in business development, preferably within the Nordic region
  </li>
  <li>
   Highly proactive and exceptional ability to strategically innovate and drive new business opportunities
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong business acumen with understanding of financial forecasting and metrics
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication &amp; stakeholders management skills to effectively interact with both internal and external clients incl C-suite executives
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to create and present high-quality materials to convey recommendations to senior leaders in a concise and impactful way
  </li>
  <li>
   In depth understanding of the changing media landscape, and Nordic broadcasters, Streaming and AVOD players
  </li>
  <li>
   A strong team-player and ability to work in a diverse and global matrix organisation
  </li>
  <li>
   A background as a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) or similar role looking for new challenges is a plus
